Déspina Filios is a designer born in Argentina raised in Rio de Janeiro, with strong European family roots.
After designing and manufacturing for famous international brands, in 2007 Déspina Created in Rio her namesake brand DESPI.
Her first collection was launched in Lyon, France and was distributed to 30 different countries. One of the style of 2008 collection "Ilhabela" worn by Alessandra Ambrosio in Victoria's Secret catalog, had 70.000 units sold during 3 years, which was a record at the time.
Despi pieces have been seen on famous Brazilian and international super models and celebrities, showcased at the best windows shops of the planet and featured at the pages of sports illustrated magazine.
